Dear Barack,

Your words are like a Siren’s song – seductive and to some hard to resist but to me it was typical shallow liberal rhetoric.

Your speech reflects the hope and desires of what the Liberal press calls a post-racial generation. We Republicans have been post-racial since the Civil War. It’s about time that Liberals are starting to catch up with us Conservatives. We had hope for African Americans with the leadership of Martin Luther King. But Jeremiah Wright’s generation demanded segregation instead of integration... The worse kind of racism.

You have an interesting story, Barack. You came out of nowhere and all of a sudden you are the lead contender of the Democratic Party’s nominee for president of the United states. But your story is a cautionary tale; you are a man with a stealthy past and no definitive experience to justify the risk of my vote.

Barack, what do we know about you? You were born to a white mother and a black man who met in a Russian language class at the University of Hawaii in 1959. Less than 4 years later after your second birthday he abandoned the two of you and went back to Kenya.

Your mother remarried and moved to Indonesia where you were put into a Madrassa for several years and at the age of ten you were sent back to Hawaii to live with your grandparents. Here you met your childhood mentor Frank Marshall Davis where you developed a close father son relationship. This lasted from the age of 10 until you went off to college in Los Angeles at the age of 18.

Frank Marshall Davis was identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) in 1951 by the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) and remained involved as a columnist espousing Marxist ideologies until he died in 1987. Did you go to his funeral? Was it eulogized by Jeremiah Wright?

Interesting that you have been going to Pastor Wright’s church since 1987 the year your mentor Frank Davis died. Is this where you lost one mentor and picked up another (father figure) Wasn’t it about then as a community leader you decided to enter politics? Wasn’t it 1992 when you worked for the Chicago Democrats registering voters for Bill Clinton?

You have a lot going for you such as your youth, faith, a family that loves you, and the fact that you are where you are today – one for the history books if you succeed.

I don’t think you are a racist but I am convinced you are a Marxist and will use Racial issues to lure in the disenfranchised to whimsical promises, not of freedom, but of free stuff all paid for on the backs of the hard workers who succeed.

As a well educated lawyer, (Columbia/Harvard), It is hard for me to believe that you would choose a philosophy (Marxism) that has such a brutal authoritarian past. While at the same time deny the tremendous success of our Free Market System. Or how you can rationalize that by taxing the rich to pay for the poor can ever be a successful or equal economic model? -- “Equality can never be obtained as long as there are corner apartments.”

What would happen if everyone in America were well educated and working? Socialism would be out of business.

What is stopping our American economy from delivering that promise to every citizen? The answer my friend is the fact that we have a mixed economy. Part Free Market and part Socialism. Free Markets' successes can be measured by the incredible rise in the standard of living America has experienced and shared with the rest of the world over the last 25 years. While Socialism has never worked and more often than not morphed into a fascist state or tyrannical theocracy.

Recognizing certain truths about the governance of this country is essential to objective leadership. One of them is the power of the individual. The mere fact that you hold tight to your chest the virtue of the Social Security System is one thing but in its current form makes me wonder about your decision making process. Your position that Government has done a good job of managing social security over the last 45 years and that its problems can be fixed with a tax hike on the middle class scares me. Your refusal to recognize how successful our markets have been over the long haul, even with all the social programs handicapping our full potential is, I believe, a flaw in your analytical judgment.
 Empower the individual, give him choices over his own finances, let him invest in America, let him feel as if he owns a piece of America… he will be happier.

When you firmly state that in regards to reforming Social Security nothing will be kept off the table EXCEPT privatization indicates to me that all that lofty talk of working with Republicans is just double-talk and meaningless. This shows poor judgment. Privatizing is the only way to fix Social Security.

What troubles me even more is that you fail to acknowledge that through privatization, infusing tons of cash into the capital markets is a positive thing for the working poor and middle class. You also fail to realize the Federal, State and Local treasuries and the value of the dollar will benefit strongly as well. This failure in judgment indicates to me that you are not as smart as you lead us to believe (a product of affirmative action) or you have a different agenda than what is best for this country.

The only way to win this election, if you are nominated, is to join Conservatives and let capitalism work. Otherwise there is no way you can possibly win. Socialism sucks the passion out of the individual and productivity comes to a standstill. The ownership society depends on all of us working together to make it happen. We have given socialist policies 45 years to work and they have failed.

This country has come the furthest in terms of race than any other country on earth. Conservatives have been color blind all along. The first part of your speech made reference to all the accomplishments of the Republican Party since the writing of the Constitution.

We are Republicans, the Party of Lincoln that abolished slavery by winning the Civil War against the Democrats and passing the 13th Amendment that forever abolished forced labor. We wrote and passed the 14th Amendment that included Due Process and Equal Protection clauses as well as defining what a US citizen is including, for the first time, African Americans. We wrote and passed the 15th Amendment, which gave every citizen, as defined by the 14th Amendment, the right to vote. We wrote the first Civil Rights Act of 1866, which was vetoed by Andrew Johnson a Democrat. Ninety-nine years later Republican President Eisenhower proposed the Civil Rights act of 1957, which subsequently sustained the longest filibuster in history by the Democrats. Then in 1964 the Democrats amended Eisenhower’s bill and passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which was basically designed to lure African Americans into the welfare state of the Johnson Administration. Blacks found safety back on the plantation of the Democratic Party and turned against those that freed them who in return treated them with indifference which really meant we did not treat them any differently than any other race.

Now here we are in the 21st Century and you are taking the Conservative position that the Democrats have better come to their senses in terms of race and accepting the possibility of a black President. I am enjoying watching all your different groups jockey for position. Jeremiah Wright, the Clintons, Ferraro, Pastor Manning, Jessie Jackson is having a heart attack over this, the anti-war pacifist led by the Communist Party of the United States et al.

However, it must be emphasized that the idea of becoming a truly “Post-Racial” society can only be accomplished by crossing the aisle, growing our economy and protecting us from our enemies.

But I have a nagging gut feeling Barack, that you want to stop this country from fulfilling its potential. You are preaching a much weaker military while at the same time practicing the politics of racial division, victimolgy, and poverty by defending Jeremiah Wright… Why? Is it because you want to preserve your job?

No I think it is more than that.

When I think of you I think of the Sirens of Greece or the myth of the Pied Piper or maybe you are the Trojan Horse... as soon as your elected you are going to unleash the hidden communist sympathizers into high government positions and as soon as we are hit by terrorist, because of a weakened military, you will declare Marshal Law.. and that will be the end of our constitution and our country as we know it.

Just a word of warning my friend, our Republican values and principles of objective reality, faith in God, family and the love for this country is the only thing I will die for and the only tune I will sing.

Democrats on illegal immigration Socialism at its finest

The Democrats view on illegal immigration is socialism at its finest.

I would like to know where John McCain is going to end up on this issue? I know where the the law firm of Obama, Pelosi and Reid stand.

Normally our economy is dynamic -- it has its ebbs and flows. After experiencing a tremendous economic expansion during the last 25 years mostly due to Reaganomics, we maybe headed into a financial downturn due in part to the severe drop in the value of dollar. There are many reasons for this but its not the point I am trying to make.

In the last 7 years we have had several major catastrophes including 9/11, Iraq/Afghanistan and the War on Terror. These events were enormous in size and very expensive -- draining trillions from our economy. The Democrats try to blame the Republicans for this when in fact the blame belongs to the Islamic Fascists. Our economy by all measure exceeded expectations and performed beautifully during this time. However, in addition to having to manage the inevitable economic downturn/adjustment, we have to deal with the influx of illegal aliens. This is causing a tremendous stress on our infrastructure such as schools, hospitals, jails, courts, law enforcement and most importantly traffic. With the dollar devalued, gas prices inflated, gold at record levels our treasuries just don’t have the money to deal with all these problems, let alone another catastrophe.

Whatever plans our political leaders have in mind regarding illegal immigration our economy just can’t handle it. Something has to give.

In terms of welfare, schools, hospitals, jails, courts and law enforcement these added expenses far exceed the tax contributions made by illegal aliens.

There is an upside to illegal immigrants. When the president tried to save the pyramid scheme known as Social Security and failed, contributions made to social security by illegal aliens and their employers are significant enough to delay the collapse of the system. On a side note: the Socialist spent $1 billion to defeat him not by debating the merits of private accounts but by besmirching his character and motive. FYI: Business contributions to Social Security alone are in excess of $500 Billion (thank you big business)

The estimated cost of illegal immigration to the US taxpayer is somewhere around $250 Billion and the cost of amnesty could be as high as $2.5 trillion**.

Where are we going to get the money? Certainly not from raising taxes, unless the law firm of Obama, Pelosi and Reid take over our government. God help us all.

There is only one solution to the illegals that are already here — Enforce the laws.

These two problems are casualties of extreme negative competition waged against free market capitalism by the dark forces of socialism, an economic system that has never worked and more often than not transformed itself into a fascist state of dictatorial rule. Waged not by a competition of ideas but of personal attacks and smear campaigns, symptomatic of a desperate struggle to survive. Simply put, socialism sucks dry the source of inspiration and innovation, whereas, free market capitalism encourages it. Profit with honor is a virtue.

The economic well being of this country keeps us together. It is based on trust, honor, faith and integrity. However, there is a building tension between socialism, as promoted by the Democratic Party, and free market capitalism that threatens to undermine these bedrock values. This tension is exasperated by an ever-increasing influx of poor illegal immigrants and their families seeking the American Dream. What these immigrants are met with, as they cross the border, is a schizophrenic society that inundates them with special entitlements that are not a definition of America but of a false definition of freedom where every thing is practically free. Democratic legislatures all across the country prop up this advancement to socialism by passing incentives into laws, such as free in-state tuition, cheap housing and free healthcare. Many cities institute programs such as Special Order 40 and Sanctuary City policies creating safety zones designed to welcome and coddle illegal immigrants. Business on this side of the border exasperate the problem by turning the other way when hiring illegal immigrants contributing to the perception of an entitlement society. It has been said that business has no ideology except for the bottom line. Profit with honor is a virtue.

This nation’s infrastructure is falling apart and needs to be modernized. Our education system is sadly mismanaged, our health care system is under intense financial strain, our police and fire departments are woefully behind the times as far as technology and manpower, and our military needs to be stabilized according to the lessons learned from our ongoing effort of saving the world. (for example from Nazism, Japanese Nationalism, Communism, and Islamic radical fundamentalism.)

The only thing on the horizon that can greatly increase tax revenues across the board, increase profits for businesses, lower the tax burden on the middle class, and create a contrary enhancement to the trickle-down theory (in other words a trickle-up theory), in a relatively short period of time, is the complete overhaul of our entitlement programs including the privatization of Social Security. Democrats are terrified of this because it would render them useless.

Just to prove a point mathematically; it is the difference between the current system (a ponzi scheme) and the magic of compounding interest. It takes the 15.3% extracted primarily from wage earners making less than $100,000 a year and puts that withholding into a personal investment account that will grow during their 40-year working life into millions. The average household in today’s dollars would have a $3.2 million nest egg and a $27,000 a month retirement check. In addition, this nest egg can be passed on to the retiree’s relatives after he dies to ensure his successors could afford the best healthcare, education and housing available.

This last statement means a huge jump in demand for goods and services, which will have to be met locally, which means more jobs and an increase in tax revenue. Enough revenue to Rebuild America.

The political outcome of all of this should be the elimination of socialism as a Democratic goal, resulting in a unifying determination, by both parties, to spread this system throughout all the world. Illegal immigrants will want to go back to their home country: Islam would have to reform or perish and for once we can fight the war on poverty where all humans are given the dignity of opportunity to be healthy, educated and prosper.

One more thing; as far as this man is concerned, humans thrive when they can place their spiritual faith in an idealized higher power. History has proven it and reason demands it.

Letter to Ann Coulter

The following is a letter I received from a woman on my email list. I answered her letter by echoing what I believe Ann would have said or believes. I haven't asked her these questions. My answer is what I think Ann might have said, albeit much more witty and smart.

The letter from this woman starts like:

Hi Jeffers, long time no see,

FTR: Am not a Republican and from the looks of it, won't be changing parties soon.

More importantly...there is nothing that would cause me to support, defend, promote, or protect the foul/big-mouthed, usually offensive, self-promoting Ann Coulter. Aside from never having done anything constructive for the AA communities, women of her likeness, and demeanor, have caused our people enough trouble. Had there not been concern over who will be demonstrating against her, may have joined them myself.

Sorry USC extended an invitation to a useless piece of self-serving, hot-air, but oh well, they gave the same grace to Ward Connelly too. Why should black America come out for either one, or the Republican Party? Convince me if you can.


So I answered her in my usual wordy and clumsy way:

Ann Coulter is a Christian. She has a conservative message about family, faith and country. She is a lawyer who discovered that bomb throwing works. It gets attention -- causes people to engage. She is trying her hardest to wake people up to the threat of the anti-women-as-equals Islam. She believes that the government has been ripping middle and lower class people off by charging them 15% of their paychecks and keeping 90% of the interest they would otherwise earn in the guise of Social Security. In other words, a minimum wage worker during his 45 years working life should have over a million dollars in his social security lock box if it had his name on it. Instead it thrown into a communal lock box with everybody's name on it including all the congressmen and senators.

Ann Coulter doesn’t believe in evolution, same sex marriage, welfare that tears apart the home, an education system where 70% of minorities drop out of high schools to join gangs, commit crimes and ends up in jail. She believes the Democrats have no interest in changing this dynamic because this is where they receive their power. Republicans on the other hand get their power from individuals that become wealthy due to their own devices, such as a good education from competitive private schools where the tuition is far less than the $15,000 per student per year that the LAUSD spends.

Think about it. If you were an average American wage earner grossing $40,000 per year and set aside 15% of your paycheck for 45 years you would retire with a monthly Social Security benefit of $26,000 per month instead of the $1,100 per month Social Security currently pays. The $3.5 million nest egg that is in your lockbox could be left to your children when you die instead of nothing the current system offers. Your children could pay for all their families health insurance, private schools and colleges and still have money left over for a nice down payment on a home.

You tell me why the Democrats don’t want this? Is it because they are scared that their platform of poverty, misery and groupthink will become useless? Why are the Democrats so afraid of American success. You can see this in the war in Iraq. I do not know of a single person that doesn’t want our troops home NOW. The difference between the Democrats and the Republicans like me is the Democrats want them to come home losers. Why is that? Do they hate Republicans that much?

I am proud to be a Republican. I am proud to be of the same party of Abraham Lincoln that freed the slaves, Ronald Reagan who won the cold war, G W Bush that freed 50 million people in the middle east from tyrants like the Taliban and Saddam Hussein. We are not the party of the KKK — the Democrats are. They still have members in congress that were members of the KKK. We were the ones that wrote the first Civil Rights Bill in Congress — it was the Democrats the filibustered it. It was the Republicans that started the NAACP and lead the women’s suffrage movement. We are the party where we judge people not by their race or gender but by their character, talents and ability. This is where the GROUPS decide they did not like us because we would not pander to their special interests. Look at Condi Rice and Colin Powell... Their parent are proud of their achievements. It wasn’t because of their skin color that got them the job it was their tenacity and their lack of the “Entitlement Mindset” of so many minorities that got them noticed.

Why are the Democrats swarming to listen to Iranian President Ahmadiniejad speak at Columbia University and applauding this man who treats woman as chattel while threatening to wipe Israel and the US off the map? Why are the same Democrats shouting down and inhibiting the right of free speech of people trying to warn them, and us, that these Radical Islamic Fundamentalists who are killing our soldiers in Iraq are our mortal enemies and will not stop until even they are slaughtered or submit to Allah.

Why are you a Democrat? Why are you aboard a sinking ship? Socialism has never worked.

Dear Anthony,

I read your article about Ted Hayes. Up front I am going to tell you why I think you are more destructive to your community than Ted Hayes could ever be. First, you use the sound bite “Colorblind” as if it’s a derogatory term. What is wrong about being color blind?

I am a white man and I am not a racist. So if YOU ask me to treat you differently because you are black, and I don’t, that doesn’t make me racists. I was raised colorblind. In other words I took to hart what my parents taught me and what Martin Luther King tried to teach you and your community; Don’t judge people by their race or gender just their character ability and talent.

Upon objectively reading your article I could initially judge you as a divisive spoiled elitist trying to prove something to someone, but I would need to meet with you in person to be certain of that judgment. Have you ever sat down with Ted Hayes? I challenge you to interview him as a man not afraid to be creative.

Why shouldn’t you and I hold people to the same moral, ethical and intellectual standards regardless of their race gender and religion? Why is your article replete with references to color and race? “White conservative “minuteman” protecting America from illegal invasion that assaults their “American values.” The Minutemen are Americans that comes in all strips; Black, White Asian, Vietnamese, rich poor, homeless etc etc etc… Why did you mislead your readers? Was it to manipulate the truth to justify your false premise: that the minutemen are racist? You go on to state that they want to protect their property. Don’t you believe in Property Rights? Or, are you one of those open borders communist that believe in taking from the successful and giving it to the lazy? Why don’t you tell your readers who is really paying the bill in this country? 10% of the most successful are paying 90% of the taxes? Instead of saying the richest 1% that owns 40% of the wealth, or the bottom 35% of Americans are paying no taxes at all.

Why don’t you believe in American Values such as family, faith and Country from which a comprehensive set principals such as less government, less taxes and more personal freedom blossomed. History shows Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Ronald Reagan did more to preserve the Constitution, Liberty and Freedom than any Democrat in history. What was the result of their efforts? The emancipation of the African slaves and their offspring, which led to the 14th Amendment written by Republicans, Our Republican Generals MacArthur, Patton, Eisenhower won both WWI and WWII. It was the Republicans that wrote the first civil rights laws and gave woman the right to vote, and are currently in the process of bringing freedom and liberty to the Middle East. Most importantly, we have defined and refined Free Market Capitalism; the most successful and compassionate economic system in the history of the world.

Did the Republicans abandon the Black American in the sixties? No, we are not the party who “sees groups” unless they are oppressed such as the Europeans, Japanese, Russians, Iraqis, Afghanis, and the slaves (all slaves not just black slaves). Once we shifted the laws from Big Daddy government to the strength and independence of the individual we created an environment for this human resource to flourish. However, the American Blacks fell in love with the Democrats that felt guilty about their past oppressive relationship and created the welfare state that inhibited personal responsibility and a strong family unit.

You, on the other hand, believe that your community is different and in need of special attention. Right? Republicans and conservative Americans believe that dependence on anyone is equal to slavery. Look at Iraq. Democrat’s main argument about surrendering Iraq is that we need to cut them loose so they can take care of themselves. I agree but not until we can be sure that they can fight off Al Qaeda and Iranians. Tony it time for you to join Ted Hayes and lead your community to independence instead of victimization, cut yourself loose from the shackles of dependency of the old and new slave masters the Democrats. Theirs is the party that thrives on using the Black community as a means to win elections. And what has come of this arrangement?

I am an 11th generation American. Mayflower and all that. My ancestors were immigrants. Immigrants are what built this country to what it is today. Africans and Asian slaves played a part in the construction of this country. It was ugly and a blemish but a fact nonetheless. Once the Republican Party was formed we sent 500,000 white boys and several thousand blacks to their deaths to liberate the slaves. Now look at how you are repaying us. By doing the bidding for the original slave masters the Democrats. American did away with slavery and we hold the basic values “That all Men are Created Equal” as a universal God given Truth. This Human Right is not given to us by the State, as the Democrats want you to believe, but given to us by God as the Republicans believe.

This is why we are so concerned about illegal immigration. On a side note Mr. Super Intellect, in order to further your cause of divisiveness you claim that Ted Hayes is purely against illegal Mexican immigrants. I have known Ted for 3 years now and this is the furthest from the truth. His main concern is the condition of his community… the poor and homeless, (race is not a factor) which is growing as a result of illegal immigration from below the southern border. (300,000 illegals are living in garages in LA County)

Blacks ARE being hurt by illegal immigration. But that’s not the point. OUR SOCIETY is being hurt by illegal immigration and it is a fact that Blacks are disproportionately being hurt the most. Why is that? It is this question where you should be directing your super intellect toward answering. But you don’t. Instead, you tear down others that are creative enough to devise a solution to the problem, but you don’t even try.

Now here is where I question your motives. It seems that you enjoy tearing down other people and their noble efforts so like-minded peers can laud you. I am a Music Producer and reject musical acts that I call mimickers – in other words, pianist who can play Beethoven’s 5th perfectly but can’t even write their own compositions to save their lives. Ted Hayes dares to be original and you just mimic the same old failed liberal rhetoric.

It is this mind-set that robs society from its true potential. I do expect you to dismiss this like a good communist would, but if you care about the idea of America and the 50 states and their citizens that have adopted it, then ask yourself these questions. Why, after 45 years of Democrat control over Black Americans have their not been any increase in the percentage of Blacks in the US population? Why have there been 35 million abortions of Black Babies since Roe vs. Wade? Why have Black Americans rejected God for the godless ideology of socialism? Why do Black Americans insist they are owed something as a race thereby separating themselves from the rest of American Society? Why is this not so for the Japanese or Chinese who look as different as any other culture? Is it because ALL American Blacks are descendants from slaves? That 200 years ago their brethren in Africa sold them out? How should I feel about your place in this country when I am not color blind, but you are? Anthony, why do you keep harping on other’s ideas when you offer no idea’s of your own?

Why shouldn’t all of us hold people to the same moral, ethical and intellectual standards regardless of our race gender and religion? We are all Americans… Right?

Of course, Hussein's removal has created a host of difficult strategic challenges, and numerous human rights atrocities have been committed since his ouster. But let us be under no illusion of what life under Hussein was like. He was a mass murderer who tortured children in front of their parents, gassed Kurds, slaughtered Shiites, started two wars with his neighbors and launched Scud missiles into downtown Riyadh and Tel Aviv. The price for the stability that Hussein supposedly brought to the region was mass graves, hundreds of thousands of dead in Iraq, and terrorism and war outside it. Difficult as the challenges are today -- with Iran and Syria trying to stymie democracy in Iraq, with al-Qaeda turning Iraq into the central battleground in its holy war of terrorism against the free world, and with sectarian militias bent on murder and mayhem -- there is still hope that tomorrow may be better.

No one can know for sure whether President Bush's "surge" of U.S. troops in Iraq will succeed. But those who believe that human rights should play a central role in international affairs should be doing everything in their power to maximize the chances that it will. For one of the consequences of failure could well be catastrophe.

A precipitous withdrawal of U.S. forces could lead to a bloodbath that would make the current carnage pale by comparison. Without U.S. troops in place to quell some of the violence, Iranian-backed Shiite militias would dramatically increase their attacks on Sunnis; Sunni militias, backed by the Saudis or others, would retaliate in kind, drawing more and more of Iraq into a vicious cycle of violence. If Iraq descended into full-blown civil war, the chaos could trigger similar clashes throughout the region as Sunni-Shiite tensions spill across Iraq's borders. The death toll and the displacement of civilians could climb exponentially.

Perhaps the greatest irony of the political debate over Iraq is that many of Bush's critics, who accused his administration of going blindly to war without considering what would happen once Hussein's regime was toppled, now blindly support a policy of withdrawing from Iraq without considering what might follow.

Racism

Is race a social construct or genetic?

The answer is social construct. There is no evidence that race is determined by genetics. Therefor anyone that defines themselves as being different than another based on skin color or geographical location is themselves a racist.

In addition, anyone who holds all people to the same morel, ethical and intellectual standards cannot be a racist.

As a conservative I hold to be true that one cannot judge another by race or gender but only by character, talent and ability.
